Santa Barbara in January

I went to visit my son Dylan this weekend in Santa Barbara. We took a few hikes in Elings Park near where he lives. The view of Santa Barbara from the park is just outstanding!

 

Today I went on a field trip with the advanced art students to the Getty Museum in LA. It was a great time and the students really enjoyed the experience. I took many photos, but my favorites are some of the ones of the students. I am, and always will be, a portrait photographer.

Newness

I haven't been shooting too much, and I miss it. I took some photos today while walking my dog at the Etiwanda Wilderness Reserve. Gotta love the mountains. Threw one in from Venice Beach last weekend, and a quick experimentation with Illustrator drawing a still life. It is not quite done, but I got bored in the middle...short attention span.
